Go ahead and clear your schedules
We might have only just entered summer, but it's already time to start thinking about when you can watch all your favorite television shows returning this fall. CBS has just dropped its brand new schedule for the 2019-2020 season, which means you're now a-OK to cancel any plans you might have already made on these days, months in advance.
The new fall schedule might seem a little bit weird at first, if only because for the first time in 12 years The Big Bang Theory doesn't have the coveted Thursday night spot. Though it's gone, it's not forgotten; its spin-off Young Sheldon continues on, moving into The Big Bang Theory's vacated 8 p.m. spot.
CBS's 2019-2020 Fall TV Lineup: What You Need to Know
Everything kicks off on Monday, Sept. 23, with The Neighborhood at 8/7c, leading into a full week of premieres. NCIS: Los Angeles and God Friended Me are also starting off the season a half-hour later than usual on Sunday, Sept. 29 because of football, but they return to their regularly scheduled timeslots the following week.
