Met Abbi Jacobson in 2007 when the two were taking improv classes at UCB, and in 2009 launched the Web series Broad City
Enlisted Amy Poehler, a founder of UCB and a fan of Broad City, to appear in the final episode, and Poehler wound up being the series' executive producer when it premiered on Comedy Central in January 2014; it was renewed for a second season in February
